MOP VOLUNTERS BUILD 2 NEW HOUSES

13 Nov 2009 | Posted by Mother of Peace Admin

Last August five local men travelled out to South Africa at their own expense, to begin the construction of two new houses at Mother of Peace Orphanage in Illovo, Natal.   Martin Sheridan (Corraweelis, Cavan) and John Lynch (Alacken, Cavan) organised this group, where they spent two weeks at the children’s home, and found it to be a life changing experience.

The men thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and the picture shows them with a group of the children at Mother of Peace. Martin, John and the boys would also like to thank sincerely everybody who helped in any way with the fundraising.
