Welcome To Mother Of Peace (Ireland)
Welcome to Mother of Peace Childrens Home in Illovo South Africa, the home is situated in the area known as Illovo, on the east coast of KwaZulu Natal, approximately 30km south of Durban. The home was the dream of a couple, Gavin & Linda, who had a vision and wanted to do something for the hundreds of children they saw every day, who were homeless, abandoned and abused. Many of these children, some as young as seven or eight were caring for their younger bothers and sisters as their parents were dead.
Gavin & Linda were members of a prayer group called Mother of Peace and hence the home took on the name Mother of Peace.
